It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Earl Bowman Jr. (Mount Airy, North Carolina), who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Earl Bowman, Sr. and Brenda Butcher Bowman; and his sister Donna Kay "Dodie" Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Marshall Bowman; his children, Jamie Lyn Muldrow (Trent), Shannon Shelton (Jamie), Cecil Earl Bowman, III (Brandon) and Joseph Tyrie Sherman Bowman (Wendy); his grandchildren, Claire Campbell Muldrow and Vincent Oliver Osorno Bowman; his siblings, Debbie Haynes (Rawley "Dink" Haynes), Kathy Hayes (Evangelist Tom Hayes) and Ricky James Bowman; and his sister-in-law Jane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
