She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Thompson and Margaret Thompson; and her siblings, Louis Sullivan, Dennis Thompson and Catherine Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, James Bateman (Maricel), Kenneth Bateman (Pamela), Michael Bateman (Louise) and Catherine Dowdy; and her son-in-law Steven of New Jersey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
