With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Gwyn (Mount Airy, North Carolina), who passed away on April 16, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilson and Beulah Edwards Gwyn; and his brother-in-law Buck Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Edith Marion Gwyn; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Sandy Gwyn; his daughter Angie of Mt. Airy; his son-in-law Matt Bunker of Mt. Airy; his grandchildren, Morgan (Michael Tate) of Mt. Airy, Malea Gwyn of Mt. Airy, Arin Bunker of Mt. Airy, Mason Gwyn of Mt. Airy and Wilson Bunker of Mt. Airy; his great grandchild Lockelan Tate of Statesville; and his siblings, Imogene Bowman, Ann (Jewal Haynes) and John Robert Gwyn of Greer, SC..
Due to limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a private graveside service will be held at Skyline Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bannertown Baptist Church Building Fund, 1834 Westfield Road, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
