It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann (Leigh) Baker of Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leigh and Veronica Mitchell Leigh; her husband Tommy Henry Baker; her brother Don Leigh; and her close friend Lorna Fischer.

She is survived by: her children, Vicki Baker Guerry, Sandy Baker Brewer, Laurie Baker, Lisa Baker Wingfield and Tommy Henry Baker, Jr.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and a niece and nephew.
