He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Utt and Emma Mathis Utt; his siblings, Dorothy Gwyn, Kathryn McCraw and Junior Utt; and his son-in-law Randy Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Utt; his children, Kathie (Robert Fleenor), Penny Thomas, Brenda (Doug Vanhoy), Pamela (Stan Simmons) and Michael; his daughter-in-law Sheila Utt; and his siblings, Jane Coake, Geraldine Towe, Roy, Mack and Phillip Utt.
