It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Candis Swicegood of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, Virginia, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kirkman and Lynda Barnes Kirkman. She is survived by: her daughter Brianna; her son-in-law Nicholas Todd; her sons, Charles "Cody" Swicegood and Trey Overby; her grandchildren, Eleia Mayes, Luke Mayes, Haley Todd and Brody Todd; and her sisters, Ginger "Kirkman" (Bill Werner), Pepper Kirkman Mayes and Robin Osborne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
