He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gossie "Jim" and Mabel Wilson Bowman; and his siblings, Linda Bowman, Kenneth, Donald and David Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gail Vernon Bowman; his sons, Stephen Bowman, Joel (Savannah Bowman) and Michael Bowman; his grandchildren, Brandon Bowman, Sawyer Bowman and Fletcher Bowman; and his siblings, Wynette, Pal Laws, Diona, Carlos Goad, Lucille Bowman and Gene (Laura Bowman). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
