It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Amburn of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Montgomery Amburn and Edith Mays Amburn. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Watson Amburn; his daughter Amber Amburn of Venice, CA; his sister Dianne Amburn Holder (Gordon) of Lowgap; his nephews, Lee Holder (Stacy) of Huntersville, Joe Holder (Lana) of Lowgap and Drew Holder (Devon) of Charleston, SC; and his brother-in-law Mitchell Watson.
