It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Roger Watson (Mount Airy, North Carolina), who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Franklin and Dorothy Faye Bennett Watson; his son Greg Watson; his son-in-law Chad Slater; his sister Martha Faye; his brother-in-law Doug Stutts; his brother Dale Watson; his sister-in-law Rosa Watson; and his stepmother Martha Allred Watson of Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lee Marsh Watson; his daughters, Debbie Watson (Krystal), Amy Simpson (Rodney) and Sharon Niston (Trevor); his grandchildren, Tana Leftwich (Jake), Tyler Simpson (Laken), Kyle Simpson (Brandi), Emma Slater, Molly Slater and Kayla Marie Wilmoth (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Taylin Leftwich, Everly, Everett Simpson, Jepp, Lera Simpson, Rush, Nash and Ripp Wilmoth; and his brothers, Clyde Watson and Gary Watson (Pam). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
