He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard William Johnson and Cornelia Alice Hiatt Johnson; and his brothers, Billy Johnson (Mildred), Clifford Johnson (Georgia), Charles Johnson (Mary) and Ronald Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Draughn Johnson; his children, Sharon Williams (Ricky Norman) and Steven Gray Johnson; his daughter-in-law Sue; his grandchildren, Jessica Leigh Johnson (Kelly Whitaker), Abbe Grae Johnson and Amanda Kay Lawson; his great grandchildren, Carper Ty Lawson, Caden Riot Lawson and Casey Rip Lawson; his brother Larry Johnson; and his sister-in-law Linda.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the William Hiatt Cemetery.
