He was predeceased by: his son Teddy "Pete" Hayden; and his siblings, Irene Hayden Key, Ruth Hayden Bledsoe, James Hayden, Harry Hayden and George Hayden.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Key Hayden; his daughter-in-law Steven Hayden; his grandchildren, Zachary Hayden, Laura Hayden, Montana Hayden and Brody Hayden; and also, Wendy Hayden and Mitchell Hayden.
