Billie Hiatt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2020, at the age of 87, Billie Hiatt of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Westmoreland and Mary Louise Chappell Westmoreland; and her husband Robert Martin "Bob" Hiatt, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter Lori; her son-in-law Zane Poindexter of Mount Airy; her sons, Marty (Cindy Hiatt), Steve (Rhonda Hiatt) and Kelly (Melissa Hiatt); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Ted Creed), Kelsey (Bradford Perley), Ross (Kayla Hiatt) and Holden Poindexter (Avery Poindexter); her great grandchildren, Cooper Creed, Tucker Creed, Kara Hiatt, Baker Creed and Baby Perley; and her sisters, Brenda (Connor Ayers) and Sharon (Tommy Sparger). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hiatt was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Martin "Bob" Hiatt, Sr. Respecting the current limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a private funeral service will be held.
