With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lene (Goins) Allen of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on August 16, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Goins and Mamie Pike Goins; her sister Imogene Goins; her half-siblings, Doshie Bell Crissman and Otis Crissman; and her great grandchild Robert William Graves Coburn.
She is survived by: her husband Flynn D.; her children, Kimberly Allen Minor (Timothy) and Steve Allen (Tina Sawyers); her grandchildren, Mae Lynn Minor, Tyler Monroe Minor (Ashlee Dawn Huybert), Stephanie Rene Allen (Richard Graves Coburn, Jr.) and Sarah Francis Allen Sawyers (Zachery Dallas Sawyers); her great grandchildren, Danielle Rene Coburn, Elizabeth Mae Coburn, Madeyln Francis Coburn and Annabelle Lillian Coburn; and her sisters, Peggy Goins Pell (Herley) and Cindy Brent.
