She was predeceased by: her parent Pender Lee; her husband David Fulton Cox, Sr.; her daughter Kathy Lauree Cox; and her siblings, Alton Ray Brown, Joyce Brown Bragg and Judy Brown White.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Cox Perry (Clarence Miller) of Mount Airy and David Fulton Cox, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Robin Cox of Hamptonville; her grandchildren, Keith Venable of Mount Airy, Kevin of Mount Airy, Carrie Venable of Mount Airy, Courtney, William Bauguess of Ronda, Brittany and Michael Connelly of Boonville; her great grandchildren, Sidney Kate Venable of Mount Airy, Embree Claire Venable of Mount Airy, Kylie Venable of Mount Airy, Rylan Venable of Mount Airy, Tucker Connelly of Boonville, Ella Connelly of Boonville, Camdyn Bauguess of Ronda and Nolan Bauguess of Ronda; and her sisters, Yvonne Brown Dill of Wilmington, Nell Brown Gayhart of Jacksonville and Faye (Charles Burton). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
