She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland DeWitt and Georgia Childress Coble; her brothers, R. D. Coble and Herby Coble; and her brother-in-law Jack Portis.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Phillips Sr.; her sons, Jim (Lilnette Phillips) and Jody (Melissa Phillips); her grandchildren, Bo Phillips, Maegan Kiser (Josh), Matt Phillips, Olivia Phillips and Payton Phillips; her siblings, Delane Portis of Mt Airy and George Coble (Maggie) of Las Cruces, NM; and her brother-in-law Tom Phillips (Joyce) of Brunswick, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
