With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernell Ward Holder (Mount Airy, North Carolina), who passed away on June 14, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Burt C. Ward; her siblings, Alice Mae Ward, Dorothy Taylor, Kathleen Hawks and Ralph Ward; her niece Jenny Hawks; and her nephew Mike Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Holder; her daughters, Beverly Watson (Rodney Pruitt) of Mt. Airy and Brenda Bourne of Mt. Airy; her granddaughters, Melissa Johnson (Grayson Sawyers) of Mt. Airy and Jaclyn Hall of Miami, FL; her sister-in-law Eunice Ward of Lambsburg; and her close friends, Allyni, Landon Strickland, Amber, Tiffany Ellis, Crystal Griffith, Erica Parker, Kendall Welch, Danielle Flemming, Megan Underwood and Christy Bouldin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
