He was predeceased by: his parent Glenn East. He is survived by: his mother Ruby Bunker East; his daughters, Kali (Andrew Boles) and Lakin East; his grandchildren, Kason Boles and Weston Boles; his brother James East; and his best buddy Flash. He is also survived by many other special friends and family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Duke Children's Hospital Pediatric Oncology Unit or to a Pediatric Oncology Unit of the donor's choice.
