We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2020, at the age of 84, Barbara Mills of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Mills to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Cooke and Elsie Cooke of Westfield; her husband John Franklin Mills; and her siblings, Beauford Cooke, Lawrence Cooke and Linda Dollyhite.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Mills, Frank Mills (Carolyn) and Rhonda Odell (Dave); her grandchildren, Staci Jessup (Dale), Brandon Odell (Leeann), Matt Mills, Summer Roberts (Brandon), Frank Lee (Tammy) and John Odell (Katie); her great grandchildren, Alyssa Jessup, Taylor Mills, Chandler Mills, Preston Roberts, Jada Roberts, Zoey Lee, Izzy Lee, Grady Odell and Mary Mason Odell; her siblings-in-law, Don Mills (Lucy), Athel Dollyhite and Jackie Cooke; and her close friend Betty Simmons.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the family will hold a private graveside service conducted by the Rev. Richard Loman, and the Rev. Eric Smith.
