It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Reeves Mayes (Mount Airy, North Carolina), who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Reeves and Myrtle Reeves; her husband Eldean Mayes; her sisters, Bertie Patton, Edna Stata, Myra Jeanne Willard and Hallie Simcox; her sister-in-law Linda Reeves; and her grandson James David Brunk (Jd).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon White (Garry) and Dana Brunk; her grandchildren, Matthew Brunk, Heather Jenkins, Joshua Compton (Brittney), Mitchell Abell and Jenny Brunk; her great grandchildren, Dixie, Emmie, Benjamin Jr., Belle, Wesley, Audrey and Riley; her siblings, Betty Jo Creed, Linda Byrd (Raymond) and David Reeves; and her brother-in-law Harry Patton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
