Artis Hiatt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Artis Hiatt of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on April 25, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Johnson and Mima McCraw Johnson; her husband Wesley Melvin Hiatt; and her siblings, Lucille Johnson Cockerham and Chester Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy "Frosty" Hiatt (Tammy) and Ricky Dean Hiatt, Sr. (Mary Jean); her grandchildren, Ricky Dean Hiatt, Jr., Garrett Keller and Bryanna Thomas; her siblings, Betty Johnson Bowman, Myrtle Johnson, Darlene Johnson Young (John) and Ralph Johnson; and also Christine Mabe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
