It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Archie Tolbert (Mount Airy, North Carolina), born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Ed" and Lottie Newman Tolbert; his daughter-in-law Robin Tolbert; and his sister Mildred Gilley. He is survived by: his wife Charldean Inman Tolbert; his daughter Andrea; his son-in-law Junior Utt; his sons, Jeff Tolbert and Todd (Patricia Tolbert); his grandchildren, Alicia Spurlin, Landon Tolbert, Dustin Utt, Kasie Gibson and Corbin Utt; his great grandchildren, Caroline Spurlin and Sawyer Spurlin; his siblings, Margaret Marvin and Larry; and his sister-in-law Ann Tolbert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
