She was predeceased by: her parents, Lugene Wilson and Peggy Rosetta Watts Ashburn; her son William Mark Atkins; and her grandmother Ida McKnight "Ida Mama" Watts. She is survived by: her husband William "Ed" Atkins; her daughter Rita Willard; her daughter-in-law Jessica; her grandchildren, Natalee Hinson and Allie Hinson; her sister Rhonda "Ronnie" Ashburn Brinkley; her brother-in-law Rev. Eugene Brinkley; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexander Goff, Emma Goff, Elijah Mosteller, Abigail Mosteller, Luke Needham, Andrew Needham and Madeline Needham; her uncle Stephen; her aunt Rebecca Stanley; her cousins, Barrett, Joanna Stanley, Rowan Stanley, Lisa, Sammy Collins, Parker Collins and Dalton Collins; and also, Miriam, Brian Goff, Rebekah, Wes Mosteller, Candace and Michael Needham.
