It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Sue Creed Brintle of Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. "Levie" Creed and Ernestine Hanks Creed; and her siblings, Minnie Atkins, Annie Holyfield, Jane Danley, Roscoe Creed, Jr. and Wallace Creed.
She is survived by: her husband Blaine Nichols Brintle; her daughters, Cheryl Brintle and Terrie Brintle; her granddaughter Meghann Heath (Nathan); and her sister Jean Hicks. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Salem Baptist Church (430 Rockford Rd, Dobson, NC 27017). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery (430 Rockford Rd, Dobson, NC 27017).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or Night to Shine at Salem Baptist Church, 430 Rockford Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
