Tolbert of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Frank Tolbert; his children, Cynthia Margaret "Cindy" Tolbert and Quinn Alan Tolbert; and his siblings, Ruth Tolbert Watson, Helen Tolbert Vipperman and Grady Tolbert.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Welch Tolbert; his nieces and nephews, Susan Tolbert, Kathy Gunter, Kay East, Judy Murray, Steve Boyd, Bill Boyd, Van Boyd (Crystal), Charles Murray, Bill Murray (Helen) and Kyle Murray (Donna); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Kinney, Gail Welch, Jerrie Welch and Lynn Cook. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
