We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Alton Lee Jessup of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" Monroe; his daughter Page Melissa Jessup; and his brother Herbert H. Jessup. He is survived by: his wife Benita Faye Gordon Jessup; his sisters, Betty Sue Martin, Judy Jessup, Jyl (James Nichols), Patricia (Larry Bohannon) and Pam (Wade Priddy); and his siblings-in-law, Rixie and Jerrie Welch-Gordon. He is also survived by niece; several nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and his beloved fur baby.
Due to health concerns, the family requests that anyone attending the graveside service to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
