It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alicia Knighten of Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Ray and Margie Armstrong Midgett; and her husband David Kenneth Knighten. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Ray Knighten (Christina), William Edward Knighten (Yolanda), David James Knighten (Vickie) and Cathy K. Palmer (Monte); her brothers, Ray Junior Midgett (Ginger), Johnny Midgett (Toni) and Alcraig Midgett (Paula); and her grandchildren, Vivian, Evelyn, Claudia, Jude, William, Amber, Jacob, Christi, Ben, Michael, Rowdy, Cyndi, Johnathan, Rachelle and Brittany. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
