He was predeceased by: his parent George Winston; his former wives, Pauline Vaughn Creed and Lessie Hodges Creed; his stepson Douglas Hodges; his siblings, Geneva, Roxie, Maurice, Robert, Tommy and Raymond; and also Heather Garris.
He is survived by: his parent Pearlie Lowe Creed; his sisters, Annette Eller of Galax, VA and Virginia McKnight of Clemmons; and also, Bennie Creed, Carlene Creed of Lowgap, Buddy Creed and Catherine Creed of Mount Airy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
