It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Patricia Teal Truman of Morven, North Carolina, born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Shannon Truman; her parents, William Lester Teal and Florence Pauline Brooks Teal of McFarlan, NC.; her siblings, Pauline Teal Childs, Jennings Brooks Teal and William Lester Teal; and her son-in-law Gerald Sellers.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Joyce Truman Sellers of Laurinburg, William Lee Truman (Jan) of Hanahan, SC and George Shannon Truman, Jr. (Diane) of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Shannon Sellers, Michael Sellers, Scott Sellers, Lea Drye, Chris Truman, Kim McVicker, Patricia Maxey, Elizabeth Locklear and Shannon Truman; and her sister-in-law Vickie Teal. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
