With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Searls King of Morrisville, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Newton and Elsie Herndon Searls; her husband Vernon King (Paul); and her siblings, Loraine Warren, Azeline Colclough, Inez Johnson, Hazel Evans, Craven and Roy Searls.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela King Leonard (David). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Lowes Grove Baptist Church, Durham Rescue Mission or your charity of choice.
