He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Howard Monroe "Mac" McCoy and Pauline Bowe "Polly" McCoy; and his brothers, Paul Bowe McCoy and Hugh Monroe McCoy. He is survived by: his wife Stacie Watkins McCoy; his children, David Cooper McCoy and Amanda McCoy Sachs; his former wife Doris Cooper McCoy; and his granddaughters, Madeleine May Sachs and Vivian Margaret Sachs.
