She was predeceased by: her parents, David B. Carswell and Lacie June Yount Carswell; her husband James Edwin McCurry; and her sisters, Elizabeth Duckworth, Marie McCurry and Josephine Burnett.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry McCurry (Debra) of Morganton and Pamela Panzer (David) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Sharon Collins of Morganton, Stephanie McCall of Morganton, Dr. Alexis Panzer of New York, NY and Taylor Panzer of Oxford, UK; and her great grandchildren, Makynna, Brayleigh, Sophie, Noah and Jonah.
