He is survived by: his parents, Thoum Nivanh and Oneia Nivanh of Morganton; his siblings, Amphayvanh (Nivanh), Vilayvanh (Phongphila), Douangchanh (Vongpachanh), Phetoudone (Nivanh), Vanh May (Mendoza), Bounthanh Nivanh (Thoi) of Morganton, Bounchanh Nivanh (Ang) of Morganton, NC and Kathy Nivanh (Taengmo) of Valdese, NC; his nieces and nephews, Becky Vue (Shatt), Sabrina Hang (Steve), Nancy Vue (Touby), Sonny Vue, Cindy Vue (Kong), Madison Phimmachak, Michelle Phimmachak, Rita Phongphila, Rose Phongphila, Raksiga Phongphila, Andrew Phongphila, Andrew Vongpachanh, Darren Vongpachanh, Katarina Mendoza, Enrique Mendoza and Alessandra Mendoza; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Anaeree, Rome, Irene and Ambrose (Kelsy Pitts). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
