He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hasell Clark and Nell Verlene Clark; and his sister Hilda Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jean Hampton Clark; and his children, Melissa Clark Hartley (Kirk Hartley), Shannon Clark Franklin (Marty Franklin) and Steven Clark (Jodie Clark). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
