She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Hennessee Phillips and Beulah Secrest Phillips; and her husband Richard Jefferson Austin. She is survived by: her sons, Allen Austin (Renee) and Mark Austin (Carol); her grandchildren, Michael Austin (Amber), Josh Austin (Jennifer) and Tiffany Austin Gentry (Nathan); and her great grandchildren, Ian, William, Gabriel and Benjamin.
