He is survived by: his aunts, Evelyn Hicks of Boone, Doris Greer (Johnny) of Boone, Barbara Ashley (Buddy) of Boone, Marilyn Watson of Boone, Juanita Miller of Boone and June Weaver (Joel) of Crumpler; his uncle Grayson Trivette (Phyllis) of Boone; his close friend Connie Wingate; his cousin Tony Trivette of Boone; and also Darnell Wingate of Morganton.
