We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2022, at the age of 87, Rebecca Hilliard Clarke (Morganton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Hilliard; and her husband Durward Eugene Clarke. She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Moore (Svein), Mary Cantrell (Terry) and Sherree Winslow (Scott); her stepdaughter Valerie Kuentzel (Walt); her grandchildren, Ben Kuentzel, Liz Helton (Joseph), Zak Winslow (Ashley), Conley Winslow (R. J.) and Hillari Cantrell; her brother Robert Hilliard (Lucy); and her caregiver Nellie Whisnant. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Amorem (formally Burke Hospice and Palliative Care) 902 Kirkwood St. NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
