She is survived by: her mother Thiet Thi Doan Elliott; her husband Scott Samples; her daughters, Jordan Samples (Ethan Harris) and Brittany Samples; her siblings, Dennis Elliott (Wendy) of Gastonia and Judie Crump (David) of Flager Beach, Florida; and her aunt Doris Ellege (Gene) of Rutherford College.
