We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2022, at the age of 73, Michael Edward Tilley (Morganton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carl and Annie McCourry Tilley; his wife Shirley P. Tilley; and his siblings, Ben Tilley and Mary Nell Troutman.
He is survived by: his son Chris Tilley; his grandchildren, Addison and Blair Tilley; his nieces and nephews, Leigh Greene, Daphne Wood, Jerry Lee Powell, Brent Perkins (Mary Beth), Eric Powell, Ethan Tilley and Lydia Tilley (Chet); and his pet Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to High Peak Baptist Church, 3073 High Peak Road, Valdese, NC 28690.
