It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Griffitts of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Griffitts and Lenna Mae Colvard Griffitts; and her siblings, Irma Liddle, Sue Bledsoe and Dean Griffitts.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Maines (Jamie) of Boonville and Lynn Maines Jenkins (John) of Falls Church, VA; her sisters, Helen Goodman of Crumpler and Ruth Walker (Joe) of Crumpler; and her grandson Dr. William Jenkins of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Senter Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
