It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Freeman of Morganton, North Carolina, born in La Follette, Tennessee, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Caleb Setzer; her husband Billy John Freeman; her children, Chrystal Freeman, Arthur Freeman and Richard Freeman; and her great grandchild Brandon Roper.

She is survived by: her daughters, Billie Clemons (Bill) of Knoxville, TN and Jeri Steffey (Joe) of Morganton; and her pet Peanut. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
