She was predeceased by: her parents, Delta Goodin and Hollis Shepherd; her stepfather Gordon Stargel; and her siblings, Philip Stargel, Sue Loy and Wanda Burton.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Coomer (Philip Cuevas) of Garfield, David Coomer (Deborah) of Lenoir and Diana Coomer of Houston; her sister Geneal Abrell (Charlie); and her grandchildren, Gabe Hathaway (Suzi), David Hathaway (Katie), Ryan Coomer and Dominick DiCaprio (Marv). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kraft Funeral Service (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
