He is survived by: his parent Ruth Ida Mae Whisenant; his wife Nancy "Christine" Bolding Beck; his children, Johnny Ervin Beck (Judy Ann) of Morganton and Pattie Beck Mullins (Lane) of Morganton; his grandchildren, Frank E. Fields, Jr., Patrick Harlow (Beverly), Scott Harlow, Victoria Fields, Elizabeth Bradley (Charley), Dawn May (Scotty), Sammy St and Jessie St; and his great grandchildren, Josiah, Jeremiah, Gracie, Emma, Jaydelyn, Gwendolyn, Tommy, Kylee, Destiny, Jasmine, Harley, Sawyer, Skyler, Emily and Athena.
