He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Calvin and Jenny Lovelace Calvin; his wife Betty Jean Chester Calvin; his grandson Troy Bristol; and his sisters, Gladys McGregor, Myrtle Womack, Nanne Adams and Virginia Dye.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Raye (David) and Daphne Bristol (Gene); his grandchildren, Seth Bristol, Cory Bristol, Shelby Drabot (Justin) and Amy Garcia (Jose); and his great grandchildren, Ryder Drabot, Avonlea Drabot and David Garcia.
