With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Cuthbertson Byrd of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 27, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester L. Cuthbertson and Margaret Keller Cuthbertson; her siblings, Barbara Michael and Dick Cuthbertson; and her brothers-in-law, Dick Rhyne and J. D. Michael.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Byrd; her children, Paula Hand (Kent) and Joel S. Byrd (Caitlin); her grandchildren, Brett Hand, Ashley Foxworth (Jared), Nicole Fortin (Clay) and Elijah Byrd; her great grandchild Jack Foxworth; her siblings, June Rhyne and David Cuthbertson; her sisters-in-law, Nell Cuthbertson and Dale Cuthbertson; and her nieces and nephews, Kim Dean, Patti Harris, Karen Johnson, Gayle Robinson, Pam Sutton, John Michael, David, Tim and Todd Cuthbertson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Baptist Church, 3394 Pea Ridge Road, Morganton, NC 28655 and also Amorem Hospice of Burke County in her memory.
