He was predeceased by: his wife Rosa L. Day; his son Randolph W. Day; his grandson Trevor Day; and his siblings, Otis Day, Beula Burnette, Blanch Watson and Eleanor Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence Day Jr. of Lenoir and Betty D. Arrowood; his grandchildren, Jeff Day (Karena), Jason Day (Michele), Derick Day, Damon Day, Timothy Green and Terry Green; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas Day, Ashley Day, Decklin Day and Gracie Green.
