He was predeceased by: his father James Tate. He is survived by: his siblings, Danny Lee Powell (Kathy) of Morganton, Angie Harris (Harvey) of Taylors, SC and Linda Campbell (Bill) of Louisville, KY.; his nieces and nephews, Drew Powell, Chris Harris, Sean Campbell, Sonya Rene Clarke and Alisha Harris; and his great-nieces, Allison, Addison and Abbigail.
