We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2023, at the age of 80, Kent Scism of Morganton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Forest Ralph; his sisters, Betty Elliott and Frances Carroll; and his pet Boots. He is survived by: his daughter Wanda "Wendee" Scism; the mother of his child Sharon Scism; his brother Ralph Scism Jr. (Sherrill); and his nieces and nephews, Gary Scism, David Scism, Michelle Herrera, Betsy Jefferies, Bryan Carroll, Lisa Lewis and Sheila Elliott.
Memorials may be made to National Parks Foundation, ASPCA, St. Judes, or Wounded Warriors.
