He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Churchill and Thelma Katie Guess Buffaloe; and his children, Kristopher Churchill (Melissa) of Raleigh, NC, Niki Churchill-Lowman (Steve Lowman) of Connelly Springs and Paige Churchill (John) of Wilmington, NC..

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kylea Churchill, Korbin Churchill, Evey Churchill, Alex Lowman and Alston Lowman.
