He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Claude Daves and Willie Mae White Daves; his wife Donna Mae Frady Daves; his son Randall Daves; and his siblings, James R. Daves and Brenda Epley.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Lynn Lilly (Wayne) and Jeffery Clayton Daves; his stepdaughters, DeEtta Morgan (Johnny) and Angel Williams; and his siblings, Wilton Daves, Harold Daves, Marie Daves and Guinette Hall. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
