She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Leonard Whisnant and Leola Jewell Branch Whisnant; her husband Dennis Yancey; and her sister Jo Ann Padgett (Jim). She is survived by: her daughter Laura; and her brother Marshall Whisnant (Doris). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
